Bucket elevator conveyors
Bucket elevators, also called bucket feeders are applied in the vertical elevation of loose material, such as stone, sand, plaster, slag and others.
Bucket elevators have various types of unloading systems: gravitational (types I, II) or separable.
The bearing elements of bucket elevators are made from the following types of connectors:
– technical link chain,
– sleeve-roller chain,
– drive belt
Due to the equipment of bucket elevators, they are of the following types:
flat- a
medium deep– b
dorsal(sharp-angled) – c.
There is also the possibility of making type II c elevators with the element of the bearing belt.
Bucket elevators have a multiple application in the industries of construction materials, food or chemical goods.
They are usually built up to 30 m of elevation.
